By aggregating insurance purchasing with a single company like our property management firm, we can leverage the high volume for better rates and coverage than what could be achieved by an individual investor. This program averages a 30% reduction in annual premiums while providing better coverage than traditional markets.
This program is tailored specifically for Ashoka Lion property managed rental properties and provides the following:
1. Automatic coverage for 1-4 Family dwellings/condos/apartments
2. Replacement Cost Coverage Included
3. Flexibility in Coverage Valuations
4. Loss of Rents Coverage Included
5. Various Deductible Options
6. $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2M Aggregate of General Liability coverage per location, thus providing separate aggregate limits for each property. Higher Limits Available Upon Request

Being a real estate investor, it is important that you evaluate your insurance a bit differently than you would if you are buying insurance for your primary home.
- Most policies will void if property is vacant for any significant period of time
- The Liability Coverage maybe limited on traditional policies so if something happens at the property , then you may not have sufficient coverage. Landlords are recommended to carry $1,000,000 of liability per incident.
- Per the property management contract, the landlord must name as additional insured on the policy so we can be be added to the policy legal defense coverage.
