Ashoka Lion began offering HOA management services in the Houston area in 2008. Our Houston area HOA management team has managed communities of all sizes including homeowner associations, condominium associations, and townhome association communities.

We know that mistakes can be made or the way that our property firm can handle issues can be improved. This is what we strive to do for our clients. Our senior management reviews our data to make changes where they need to be made to be the best management company that we can be for our clients. Examples of our efforts at progress:
- Live Sheet Update A few years ago, our managers were reviewing issues with clients and it became apparent on an active HOA community that the HOA commuication programs were mired in a huge mess of emails and threads were intertwined with messages being lost in the process.
- Lockbox Payment Process Update Ashoka has utilized lockbox services for over 12 years as they reduce human error by payments being sent directly to the bank. However over the years, homeowners have sometimes failed to follow instructions and mailed the payments to our office. Due to the pandemic and our HOA management teams working remotely, we have sent reminders that payments for HOA dues are to be sent to the lockbox. Our HOA management team has implemented an enforecement protocol for those homeowners who fail to send payments directly to the bank.

Ashoka Lion has both rental property management and HOA management service teams. Our senior management is constantly monitoring technology and applications of these new software or services to determine if we can utilize tools in an entirely new way that the software or technology vendors may not have themselves imagined using the software. Our property management teams not only utlize technology, but we also reposition it to use it in ways that no one else has to serve all our clients. A few examples of this include:
- Our Architectural Compliance Incentive Program: Ashoka Lion offers a platform for financinig repairs that was originally offered to our rental property management landlords, and now we have repositioned this program to HOA owners and use it as a incentive for reporting changes to Architectural committees.
- HOA Owner AC filter delivery program was originally targeted for our rental property management tenants and now we are rolling it out as a benefit for our HOA owners and their tenants if they so choose.

HOA Insurance Brokerage Networks
Ashoka Lion works with the largest HOA insurance brokerage (AIAI) and one of the largest local insurance HOA brokers (Arthur J Gallagher), so our HOA communities will be quoted excellent pricing that is based on their needs. Often times communities are quoted with Master policy plans, but these plans may not be suitable for the specific needs of the HOA community. This is why our partnerships with expert insurance brokers help our HOA communities navigate policies based on their need.
HOA Vendor Networks
Ashoka Lion has a network of vendors who can help the community handle various repairs and maintenance projects. Our HOA managers can help coordinate the right vendors are bidding for the various projects and collect the proposals to allow HOA boards to review.
