Among the most popular parks are Everest Park and Bellaire Zindler Park that features a neighborhood pool, two lighted tennis courts, a gazebo, a picnic area, a jogging trail, an open playground. In addition, the city boasts its own community recreation center ( the Bellaire Recreation Center) , and the City of Bellaire has it own meeting facility great for cultural performances and meeting ( Bellaire Civic Center).
Each year, the city of Bellaire, TX has its own celebrations for the community including a wonderful Fourth of July fireworks display and “Snow in the Park” celebrations during the winter.
Bellaire falls under the jurisdiction of the Houston Independent School District. Families with elementary-aged students are zoned to Paul W. Horn Academy, Condit Elementary School or Lovett Elementary School, depending on the location. Families with middle school students may attend Johnston, Long, Pershing or Pin Oak Middle Schools, also depending on location. Bellaire boasts on the premiere high schools in the Houston area, Bellaire High School.
The city also provides community college and associate degree services that are provided by the Houston Community College System.
