Submitting a video walk through

Tenants can send us 2-3 videos if need be of their home twice a year - August to September and February to March. The videos must be submited by the last day of the window. If we do not receive it, we will schedule a visit to the property which could result in a $75. 


Submission on time can also get you pinata points that you can use in the Pinata Market Place!


 Our property managers are reviewing video to get a better idea of the condition of the home.  The walk through of the home should cover the interior and exterior of the home, and it should provide property manager or landlords a assessment of the condition.  Due to the size of the videos commonly being too large to send as attachments, we recommend the following submission options:

  • Digital storage (e.g. DropBox, Google Drive, One Drive, etc.) - send shareable link to us.
  • Upload in our form (larger files may not be submitable due to upload size limit of 20MB)
  • Upload to YouTube and share the link to us

Tenant Self Guided Exterior Walk Through Of Home

The exterior portion of the  tenant self guided walk through must include the following exterior items that should be able to be clearly seen: 

  • all  exterior walls
  • windows 
  • window screens
  • landscaping (front, rear, and all side yards - grass, bushes, trees, plants, etc.)
  •  gutters 
  • exterior AC unit (if it's on the ground), 
  • garage door (if one is present), 
  • front/rear doors, and any deck/patio.

Interior Walk Through of the Home

Tenants should be sure that all surfaces in any and all room are included in view so property managers can assess the condition. These surfaces and areas include, but may not be limited to: 

  • floors
  • ceiling
  • walls
  • windows
  • doors
  • interior of cabinets under sinks
  • HVAC intake - open to show filter condition

For appliances, be sure to include the following images: 

  • stoves - turn on all burners and the oven so that the heating elements are ON and clearly viewable in the image
  • for fridges, both interior and exterior images are needed (if the owner provided fridge has an ice/water dispenser, please include images showing they are operational).

For fixtures, be sure to include the following images :

  • For any faucet ensure the water is turned on and after running the water for a few seconds, show video under the sink to see no leaks
  •  Ensure all ceiling fans and light fixtures are  able to turn on when doing walk through video
